AKQA's Future Lions competition is an annual global challenge for students to create innovative advertising ideas that leverage emerging technologies. The 2019 theme was "A New Tomorrow," encouraging participants to develop forward-thinking concepts that connect brands to an audience in ways not possible three years prior. The focus was on originality, creativity, and the potential to shape the future of communication and brand interaction.

The McCann Intern Competition is an internal contest where interns work in teams to conceptualize and pitch a marketing campaign for a real client. The competition simulates the real-world agency experience, with teams collaborating across disciplines to develop creative, strategic, and impactful solutions. Teams present their campaigns to senior leaders, giving participants valuable experience in campaign development, presentation, and teamwork.

The One Club for Creativity's Young Ones competition in 2019 featured a brief from Z by HP, Hewlett Packard's high-performance product line for creative professionals. The challenge encouraged students to develop a campaign that highlights how Z by HP empowers creators and innovators to push boundaries. Participants were tasked with showcasing Z by HP as a tool for achieving groundbreaking work.

The Powerade Jam Fest is an annual event held during the McDonald's All-American Games, showcasing the top high school basketball talents in the nation. Participants compete in exciting skills challenges, including the slam dunk contest, three-point shootout, and a skills competition. It’s a fan-favorite event that combines athleticism, creativity, and entertainment, giving players a platform to display their abilities on a national stage while building excitement for the All-American Games.

The Atlanta Future Foundation Summer Arts Program is a creative initiative designed to provide youth in underserved communities with opportunities to explore various artistic disciplines. Through hands-on workshops, mentorship, and exposure to professional artists, participants gain skills in visual arts, music, theater, and more. The program fosters personal growth, artistic expression, and community engagement, helping young people develop their talents and build confidence while contributing to the cultural vibrancy of Atlanta.
